@16.45 - what an accurate post and comment you have made. You obviously know the way they work well! I suspect that neither Messrs Smith or McMillan stand to lose anything and it will be the workforce who lose their jobs when the iceberg effect takes hold. That said people who remain in such a toxic environment should be thinking very carefully about reputational risk.
