It is a surprise CAS are still going. It would make no sense for this to be sold off. 80% of their work was internal to Carillion but they have never had a legal advisor who was capable of accurately assessing contracts for pitfalls. It is true that many of the in house solicitors were unhappy with the standard of the work being produced and usually ended up having to re-review.

A part of the business which for years systematically removed older employees and is ran by an immature, untrained and personal agenda laden 27 - 34yrs demographic who couldn't even carry out the work the legal advisors themselves I once heard from several staff. A sad state of affairs await anyone who buys this business, one that has no assets.
