With no link to the actual study (which presumably includes full details), it's impossible to gain any real understanding of how impressive/silly this is.

As others have said, what issues were being flagged up, was the AI only searching for issues previously identified, could it recommend action in response, etc...

The impression I have is that, as usual, the reality is somewhere between the evangelists believing this will replace all lawyers by next week as against the head in sand type who say no lawyers could ever be replaced by AI.

I think initially, AI will at most be a tool to be used by lawyers. The tools will no doubt get better, and at some point may come a point where the AI is "good enough" in specific areas, especially when taking into account the costs associated with humans.
