A senior female partner (decades in the position) disgusted about the BBC pay inequality disclosures, on learning that the higher paid males had agreed to take a pay cut, irritatingly blurted out that she had hoped the females pay would have increased in line with the males instead.

Shamefully, the same happens in her own firm, but the firm having been very keen for many years to frown upon (and gag) open discussions about pay, she doesn't know we know all females are paid significantly less.

You couldn't write it. And what was that about integrity.
