A laudable aim, but a blunt instrument; you need to compare like with like - for example, male and female assistant solicitors, male and female partners - and work out the full-time equivalents of part-time salaries. Otherwise, you'll get the media grabbing figures for the "pay gap" between the salaries of a part-time employee at the lowest end and a full time senior employee (if not partner) at the top end, which is meaningless.
