So glad I have always avoided any work done for or organised by the state. They could not organise a piss up in a brewery. You cannot mess around with people at exam/test times - the psychological issues/stress is huge and people may have arranged childcare or court hearings and days off around this. instead you need back ups of back ups and if on line stuff does not work you do it in a traditional less risky way.

May be everyone who has lost money from this mess can sue for their lost fees in court. I do IT contract/dispute litigation. There will be a contract with the IT provider which will deal with claims and liability of course.
