Where have we heard this before, we have made massive losses but everything is OK. That sounds like the Captain of a ship making sure his own lifeboat is secure before telling the crew they are sinking.

I have a lot of sympathy for the employees at Lyons who must be very worried at the moment seeing these kind of reports
