Interesting that Gloster would have let MdR off entirely, for the sensible reason that MdR did everything it needed to do. And that the trial judge's reason that "they've got the best insurers" was beyond cretinous.

But she got overruled by the two who are not Vice-Presidents of the Court of Appeal and so who are probably jealous. On that ground alone the Supreme Court will surely intervene. Basically means nobody involved in any property transaction will ever get their own insurance because the solicitors will be on the hook.
