One solution is to confine your conveyancing work (and any other where fraud and money laundering is a potential problem) to those clients known to you personally (or known personally to your employees, your granny or whoever). Let someone else take the risk - the conveyancing factories and suchlike who either don't know the person who walks in off the street or (more likely these days) never even physically meets the client.

The added benefits are a better relationship with the client from the outset, a reduced likelihood of a complaint at the end and, of course, a better night's sleep.
