"Law at Work said it did not state or imply anywhere on its site it was a law firm"

Really. So the use of the word 'Law' in 'Law at Work', and being owned by solicitors, is in no way suggestive of a law firm? And whilst the SRA waves all this through and grants 'safe spaces' for solicitors to practice in unregulated firms, it takes the ASA to step and apply a little common sense.

Meanwhile I read that regulated law firms undertaking employment tribunal work will now have to publish their fees. All in the name of open competition when in reality the SRA and Law Society are complicit in deceiving the public into thinking that all legal services providers are essentially the same. Still, a shiny new logo will probably make up for the continual erosion of profession.
