The problem is many people nowadays are led to believe that they are special and super intelligent. Guess what, there are a lot of special and super intelligent people practising law, as well as some who are not so special or intelligent.

People tend to have unrealistically high expectations. They only want to do something until they get it right and often (in my experience) object to doing it again because they 'know how to do it' and want to learn something new. This brings to mind the distinction between the amateur (who practises until they get it right) and a professional (who practises until they can't get it wrong).
