Anon@14:31. I think you have missed the point. The problem is that it is assumed that that someone who went to the right school/university is more talented that someone who didn't. It is exactly the attitude that someone whose parents couldn't afford to send them to private school must be lazy good for nothings that perpetuates inequality. The change needs be that you look at the person and what they have achieved not the where they were educated, their gender, colour of skin etc. If they have the talents you want, recruit. If they are lazy, unable to get on with people etc, don't recruit, even if they did go to Eaton and Oxford and you used to room with their father when you went to Eaton and you owe him a favour.
