I really don't understand how insurance man can possibly suggest anon 08.50 is wrong beyond being a troll.

As a claimant representative if I was ever to go over to the dark-side I'd force every single claim to trial on the new system. You are already saving 90% on every claim - why wouldn't you try for the 10%? How many claimants are actually even going to issue?

You wouldn't even have to change current protocols much:

Is claimant non-white? - allege occupancy/slam on
Is the claimant eastern European? - allege fraud ring/slam on
Is it a rear end shunt? - allege slam on
Is the accident on a roundabout - allege slam on/u-turn (seriously though defendant guys wtf?)
Is your insured downplaying the severity of the collision to protect his no claims? - Allege LVI and slam on
Is there dash cam showing your insured plowing into the claimant? - withdraw indemnity and allege slam on.

With every allegation state that you will pursue the claimant for costs and refuse to ever insure them in the future.

I could save them billions.
