The comments so far are just the initial tip of the iceberg; this will be like a mini -Brexit with numerous nasties cropping up which no one had considered initially and which reveal complications and downsides galore.
I suggest we all write to the LSB with not only our objections but a list of questions to be answered.
The LS should initiate a JR straightaway .
The meaningless mantra " access to justice " is again just stuffed in there as a useless sound -good filler which means nothing .
The SRA could hardly have come up with a prescription more guaranteed to lead to harm to the public and to the knock-on damage to the good repute of the solicitors profession - a blatant breach of their fundamental duties .
