I have a non-law degree obtain and I currently work in a small law firm. I did not have the finances to pay for the GDL on graduation. I cannot afford the money or the time to take the GDL and then the LPC. I have signed up with a provider of the QLTS (who claims to have a pass rate of over 80% for the multiple-choice test of the QLTS) and am working through their text books and their question bank of multiple choice questions. This is costly but nowhere near as costly as the alternative. I expect to ready in 2020 (now 2021) to sit the SQE1. Can anyone see anything wrong with this? Or should I be forced to qualify via the GDL/LPC route? If the latter, this would not be possible for me.
