I’m amused by how you simply assert this without any evidence or reasoned argument at all.

In any event, you’re completely wrong. One issue Remain comprehensively lost on was immigration. As admitted by Alan Johnson after the vote, Remain had no coherent response when asked, for example, “why is the current system of Free Movement preferable to, for example, an Australian style quota system that allows in only those essential to fill gaps in our economy.”

Indeed, Remain’s only response to that question was to call the questioner ‘racist’ for asking it.

So no, your rose-tinted version of history will not do. You’re entitled to think differently if you so choose.

But as you said yourself, you’re not entitled to your own facts.
