It is difficult to stomach this self-serving special pleading. It is both embarrassing and absurd that the SRA should be acting in such an unseemly, secretive manner. They are compounding catastrophic and eye-wateringly expensive errors of judgement with a bunker mentality of a sort which, if exhibited by a law firm, would result in a swift intervention. Still, at least they can recoup their costs by the cowardly prosecution of victim of the most barbaric antisemitism.

Can anybody think of any walk of life in which Paul Philip could preside over such a series of fiascos, yet still keep his job?
