I am genuinely interested whether the letter from Paul Philip dated 16/12/16 to the chair of the Defence sub-committee was made public at the time, whether by the SRA or (more likely) the sub-committee.

The letter was said to be a submission to the inquiry on MoD support for former and serving personnel subject to judicial processes. I would assume such submissions, particularly from a public regulatory authority are routinely made public, though I suspect I may be disappointed with that assumption.

As for the letter itself, it is a really impressive effort at shoehorning the SRA's agenda into the committee's inquiry.
