Anon at 11.06 - I understand Prof Strauss is willing to accept that his data (regarding life expectancy for disabled people in the US) should be adjusted to take into account better care in the UK generally and/or the likelihood of better than average care in the event of a large award of damages.
More generally, I'd agree the headline is questionable to say the least.
