Although I am a solicitor and qualified for many years, I don't get the idea that solicitors can possibly do a job properly for their client if they have to either cut corners or just not do things properly in order to keep within a budget which at best is a pure guestimate.

I hardly feel this is "access to justice" but rather a total fudge. It's the old adage...you get what you pay for...unless a client is fortunate enough to have someone acting who simply doesn't mind not being paid properly (and if that is the case you wonder why that would be the case)....
So difficult to stomach when you see a failed football manager be paid off to the tune of £24 million.....
