Report comment

What I don't get is why on earth he reported himself to the SRA. They can hardly condone dishonest and criminal behaviour so the outcome is not exactly surprising. Maybe someone threatened to report him if he didn't report himself. But if he chose to report himself without any pressure to do so then one has to question whether the lack of judgement he demonstrated regarding the train fares persisted.
