I am not a conveyancer. However from my dealings with conveyancing solicitors and those factories it appears that it is the factories who promise to do it on the cheap but when compared are not necessarily cheaper and if there are hold ups it is quite often the factories not understanding what has to be done. It is the solicitors for the other party who have to sort out the mess at no fee because if they do not then the client is told by the agent or the other side that it is the good solicitor holding things up.
