And what about the Expert Witnesses who may, like others, have managed their diaries and travelled some distance to attend? We get nothing if the case is adjourned at the last minute and, like the defending lawyers, our fees keep getting squeezed.
If highly qualified and experienced Experts decide that enough is enough, then how will the courts understand, and make decisions on, complex technical matters?
