So what's your point? Are you saying that no-one should campaign or support improvements in human rights such as the right to free speech, or choose / practise their sexuality, without fear of being persecution?

How do you know that protests won't be listened to by Brunei?

Should we not support the dignity of everyone in the world to do that, as equals under the law?

Or is life all about how many hours we can bill in the day as lawyers, before we return home exhausted, and then rinse and repeat?
