In my 20's I would have struggled to work from home without getting distracted, but now I'm a bit wiser I really value the time doing so.

It doesn't work for everyone, but I start earlier, take less of a break, find there are fewer distractions with the radio on in the background and generally get more work done of a better quality.

Also, living in the South East, there's the added benefit of not contributing to the pretty bad congestion and endless fumes belching from slow moving traffic in an area with 3 schools.

It seems sensible, in this day and age, for more people to work from home for a wealth of reasons - time, cost, less pollution (depending on how one travels), fewer distractions and even just appreciating the option to do so.
