I'd like a bit more detail here. To put it bluntly - how many of them were offensive weapons? I speak as someone whose greenhouse is full of anti weed implements that would cause outraged letters to The Guardian.

I dare not tell you, about the stuff in the garage - the new chainsaw is for consenting adults only.

However, when I venture out, I make sure that I've got the bare minimum of anything that might cause someone of the woke persuasion to clutch the pearls and exclaim "Arrest him officer - my husband is a senior Rotarian."

So, back to the nitty gritty - what was confiscated? And, if it was totally indefensible - Samurai swords, machetes etc - why weren't they arrested for possession of offensive weapons?
