As a practising solicitor, a decade ago, I had an anti-bullying website, now called legaljackass.uk.com. I was prosecuted for it by the Solicitors Regulation Authority - for bringing the profession into disrepute! But an independant adjudicator ruled in my favour, saying that my website was 'an important contribution to the debate on bullying in the legal profession'. Read my book entitled: 'Solicitor v The Establishment' which is free to download on the website. I came close to receiving a severe reprimand from the SRA, if not an end to my career. Bullying will always occur. Victims must have an open right to complain.
