50 for a single hearing?

So you wait till 8pm to get called on (having been at court since 5.30pm)

And you get an extra 50???

Is this meant to compensate for loss of family time? Or the costs of child care?

If the firm gets a measly 50 how much do you think the staff might get? Less than minimum wage?

HMCTS needs to get into the 21st century with regards to costs of running a firm and the costs of living. NO-ONE is going to do this. If you end up contractually forcing people to do this you will only get Mickey Mouse lawyers who will screw everything up anyway.

Don't insult our intelligence by saying this is all designed to help the public. You can't make the court service into 24 hour Amazon on line shopping. It ain't the same.
