National law firm Shoosmiths has announced twenty promotions to associate this month, following the firm’s partner promotions in May.

All associate promotions take effect from Monday, 1 September.

The new associates are: Lucy Jago, Anita Parker, Anna Scott and Lauren Lee in recoveries services; Alistair Hammerton and Claire Green in corporate; Helen Westwood, Sian Walker, Aaron Richardson, Jessica Ready, Emily Stocker, Cara Beveridge and Laura Limpus in real estate; Sherif Malak, Priti Bansel, Jessica Poad, Andrew Tatlock, Lauren Stent, Ben Zielinski and Michael Hardiman in commercial.

Chief executive of Shoosmiths, Claire Rowe, said: ‘Our annual round of associate promotions is an opportunity to recognise the commitment and experience which our people bring to Shoosmiths.

‘Our new associates have earned this by excelling in their field of expertise and holding key relationships with clients, integral to the firm’s success. It is a pleasure to reward their contributions through promotion.’

In total, twenty promotions have been made across four practice groups nationally. Four promotions were made in Birmingham and four in Solent. Three promotions were made in the Manchester office and three in Thames Valley.

Northampton saw two promotions, as did Milton Keynes, and both Edinburgh and Nottingham saw a solicitor made up to associate.
