Thackray Williams has welcomed dual UK-US qualified attorney and solicitor Alexandra Hubbard to its employment team.
Hubbard has particular experience in supporting employers in creating compliant, productive cultures and litigation claims.
As an employment attorney in the US, she worked with companies and not-for-profit organisations advising on day-to-day managerial questions and dealing with litigation.
In 2024 Hubbard left the US to undertake an LLM at Durham University. In July she was officially admitted to the roll of solicitors of England and Wales, enabling her to practise both here and in Nebraska.
Hubbard commented: 'I’m excited to join Thackray Williams – it’s a great team with a fantastic culture and an interesting mix of clients.
'I love England and knew that I wanted to live and work here [...] I think London is one of the best cities in the world.
'I even like the weather! English people are always surprised when I say that, but Nebraska has real extremes, so I appreciate the milder climate.'
