Obiter may have recently brought to an end its popular 'Lawyers and their lorries' theme, but that is not going to prevent us from testing the water - boom, boom - with other forms of transport. The picture is of the tall ship 'Artemis' weighed down by more than 90 members of staff from south-coast firm Coffin Mew & Clover and guests during the recent Trafalgar 200 and International Festival of the Sea in Portsmouth. Named after the goddess of the hunt, the Artemis was launched in 1926 and spent its early years in the northern and southern polar seas. But Coffin Mew & Clover merely hired it out for the day and Obiter is sure we can do better. So the hunt is on for the lawyer with the oldest or largest boat - details and pictures should be sent to: gazette-editorial@lawsociety.org.uk.
