Chris Partington (pictured, right) loves a challenge. Over the past three years, the wills, trusts and probate lawyer at Sale firm Slater Heelis Collier Littler has climbed Kilimanjaro, tackled the National Three Peaks climb and has now cycled 100 miles coast to coast in a day – all in aid of local charity Henshaws Society for Blind People. On 16 May Chris and his pal Eric Lunt completed the crossing from Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria to Tynemouth in just 10 hours and 45 minutes. He collected £1,500 in sponsorship money from the event – bringing the total he has raised for Henshaws in the past three years to almost £10,000. If you’d like to top that up, please visit
