Schadenfreude is a dangerous game to play, but Obiter just cannot resist pointing out this little gem from the Winter 2006 edition of the client newsletter of London-based media law firm Carter-Ruck. The firm is renowned for bagging apologies and corrections in all types of media on behalf of its clients. So it was somewhat ironic, to say the least, to read a note in its newsletter &150; which is cleverly titled 'Get Carter-Ruck' (who says lawyers ain't funny?) &150; correcting a previous inaccuracy in its own pages involving Mirror Group Newspapers and Leeds United chairman Ken Bates. As fellow publishers, our hearts go out to the editor.
