Welsh firm Leo Abse & Cohen has turned its office into an art gallery, it proudly says, as part of its 'on-going project to encourage creative thinking in the workplace'. James Charlton (pictured on the left with marketing director Robert Lloyd Griffiths) has created a collection of 16 images of abstract Welsh landscapes and seascapes that will be hung in the firm's reception and boardroom. Showing a knowledge of law firms uncommon in 26-year old artists, Mr Charlton said: 'I'm very excited about working with them [Leo Abse] to showcase my work - it's not often that you get the support of such a well-known and respected business.' All very laudable, but how about doing something truly radical - like turning his studio into a law firm? That would surely find favour with conceptual or performance artists everywhere. All we'd need then is a catchy title - maybe 'The Physical Impossibility of Meeting that Target in the Mind of Someone Billing' - and Bob's your proverbial uncle.
