BLP: shock decision to do nothing

Here at Obiter Towers, we know a hot news item when we see one. Setting a standard that will be hard to beat in 2005 even though it is still only January, City firm Berwin Leighton Paisner has sent out a press release saying that it has 'completed its premises review and has decided to remain in its London Bridge offices, Adelaide House and St Magnus House'. Yes, we can see the headline now: 'Law firm decides to go nowhere'. Look out for other ground-breaking stories in the coming 12 months including 'Assistant thinks about moving to another firm but doesn't', 'Law firm does work and sends client an invoice' and 'Corporate lawyers ponder completing deal during the daytime but choose to stay up all night anyway'. These could be heady days indeed.
