Oh dear. Obiter has been pulled up once again for its poor geographical knowledge of the West Country. Following our recent (failed) attempt to clarify the location of Worth Matravers - which we placed in Devon, not Dorset - we have now rightly been hauled over the coals for not putting Torquay in Devon; a recent Moving On page located it in Cornwall. Thankfully, one reader was on hand to point out the error of our ways, and in an admirably thorough fashion as well. He helpfully enclosed: a print of England; a more detailed print showing county boundaries; the first page of a list of the counties of England; a plan to show the locations of Torquay and Truro; and a plan to show the location of his firm. 'The boundaries of Cornwall are clearly marked,' he added (just in case).
