Get your motor running...

Efforts to revive the dormant Law Society Motor Club are gathering pace.

To inspire potential members, we have included these pictures (from Clive Lambert of Ap Law in London) of the club during its heyday in the 1980s when track days included the opportunity to take part in a race, practise skid control and generally drive as fast round a proper circuit as you wanted or dared. Days out included trips to Silverstone, Combe Castle, Thruxton and Oulton Park, when a manufacturer would often lend cars to test.

People interested in helping re-start the club - which has a bank account with a modest balance - are invited to a meeting at 6pm on 26 April at the Law Society's bar. If you are unable to attend but would like more information, email Clive Lambert at clive.lambert@aplaw.co.uk.
