Entering the very niche Obiter competition of 'I was pictured with a disconcertingly large plastic dog' are Paul Marmor (left) and Terry Fendt, partners at St Albans firm Sherrards. For no obvious reason revealed by the accompanying press release (except the photo op, which is good enough for us), the pair went along to meet Scottie, the Monopoly dog, and the Mayor of St Albans following the announcement from Monopoly that St Albans had been chosen to replace top square Mayfair for the new city-based version of the game. St Albans became the, erm, 'top dog' following a campaign by its residents to vote in Monopoly's online poll.
