Yet another contender has emerged in our competition to find the fastest solicitor in the world of motorsport. Chris Kite, a sole practitioner in Bracknell, has been a racing driver for some 35 years. And he's pretty quick.
Mr Kite has won five national championships and at the age of 64 holds eight current lap records. His present car is a Dallara F3 in which he competes for the 750 MC Formula 4 single-seater championship.
He says this season could be his last, but admits to making such a promise before. 'Racing is a tonic,' he reports, 'but returning to work on a Monday morning is not easy after a weekend at Brands Hatch, Silverstone or Donington Park.'
