It would appear that Sir David Clementi (left) has done the legal profession a favour by not recommending that the government permit multi-disciplinary practices. Addressing the Law Society's law management section conference in London last week, Sir David explained how the week before he had spoken to the Institute of Actuaries. 'It's good to be back in front of a live audience,' he quipped.
