Yes, construction lawyer David Mosey of Trowers & Hamlins is third on the right, pictured with Mott the Hoople members (left to right) Ian Hunter, ‘Overend’ Watts and Verden Allen. Mosey met the not-quite-so-young dudes during their reunion tour, and like any fan, he asked them for an autograph. So what did Mosey proffer for the intriguingly coiffed musicians to sign? His t-shirt, perhaps? His back? Nope, ever the solicitor, he gave them a copy of his new book, Early contractor involvement in building procurement, in which he has apparently dedicated not one but two chapters to the band. Unperturbed, the veteran rockers happy lent their scribble to the legal tome. One of them even wrote ‘cheers David’. Now that’s rock’n’roll.
