At any international legal conference the titles of the sessions are generally not that intriguing. This year's IBA bash in Prague is no different, with most of the subjects bearing headings along the lines of 'Spectrum policy and planning: paradigms for allocation of a critical limited resource' and 'Trust litigation from the beneficiaries' perspective'. So it was little wonder that there was a rush to the lecture room with a session headed: 'Doctors and nurses...' Images of lawyers dressing up in medical kit and getting involved in old-fashioned school-day games were scuppered when it emerged that the session was an analysis of world-wide movement of the medical profession.
