Here at Obiter HQ, we have long appreciated law firms' attempts - mostly dismal - to re-brand themselves as hip, ultra-modern businesses. We will spare the blushes of the latest firm to trumpet the changes they have made with a release headed 'Making a big difference'. Though the firm's 'changed name' was a case of adding LLP after the old one, to be fair, the logo has changed for the better. But it was the quote that followed that we enjoyed most: 'It's an exciting time for the firm and our clients. However, the message is clear - it's business as usual: Same name, same locations, same dedication to clients... But different.'
