News of another lawyer's brush with theatrical glory (and terrific 'tache) - Kevin Gauntlett, partner and head of the West Wickham office of Kent firm Thackray Williams, will next month direct the London premiere of the multi-award winning Broadway show 'Titanic: The Musical'. Mr Gauntlett will also take the part of the Titanic's owner, Bruce Ismay, who managed to get onto a lifeboat - leaving his secretary behind - and was subsequently on the receiving end of much opprobrium following the disaster. The £60,000 production by the West Wickham Operatic Society can be seen at The Churchill Theatre in Bromley from 21-25 November. The musical won five Tonys, but was never transferred to the West End.
