But there is one solicitor who will appear before a global TV audience of millions this summer. Andy Cross, partner and head of employment at north-west firm Brabners Chaffe Street, becomes captain of the Royal Liverpool Golf Club next month. The Hoylake club hosts The Open in July and Mr Cross will present the trophy to Tiger Woods, sorry, the winner.
