The winner of the admittedly not-very-hotly-contested bar association 'most down wiv da kidz 2007' competition looks set to be the State Bar of Texas. According to Texas Lawyer magazine, it has become the first bar association to sponsor a competition on YouTube. Entitled 'Lone Star Stories: Texans on Justice', it has invited people to send videos illustrating their vision of the promise of justice for all. Unsurprisingly perhaps, all videos will be screened beforehand to ensure they are family friendly and contain no profanity. Under-18s can win a $2,500 scholarship, while the winner of the 18-and-older category receives the same sum in cash. The initiative is part of the association's 'Let's do justice for Texas' public education initiative.
