Obiter has regularly shown photos of brazen attempts by B-list celebrities to bask in the reflected glory of the legal profession. But this time the celeb is out of the top drawer and the picture opportunity is for good reason. Motor racing legend Sir Jackie Stewart is shown presenting Ian Titchmarsh, an insurance partner in the Liverpool office of north-west firm DWF, with a silver salver to mark 30 years of being the race circuit commentator at the British Grand Prix. Mr Titchmarsh says his favourite ever race was the Macau Formula 3 Grand Prix in 1990, where Mika Hakkinen and Michael Schumacher collided on the last lap. 'Schumacher won, and the rest is history,' he says.
