Brooklands Museum is a place where innovations of the past shape and inspire the possibilities of the future.

The Museum is home to the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit and has been a place of engineering and innovative achievement since 1907. Brooklands championed speed and flight, from people driving record-breaking racing cars to flying pioneering aircraft that shaped the world we know today, including the iconic Concorde. The site was instrumental during the Second World War. As an independent and self-supporting charity, Brooklands Museum Trust preserves an incredible legacy, safeguarding it so that it remains accessible and welcoming to everyone.

In 2026, we celebrated the 100th anniversary of Britain’s first Grand Prix. The Museum has used this milestone to mark history and everything that has happened since, inspiring today, and future generations to come. Each year more than 16,000 young people take part in the Brooklands Innovation Academy, STEM based educational programme.

We have a growing membership and volunteering community, welcoming over 180,000 visitors annually. Whilst this is encouraging, we continuously require support for the upkeep of the Museum, and care of the historic, invaluable collection, across its 32-acre site.

Please choose to leave a kind gift in your Will to Brooklands Museum.

Your thoughtful generosity will leave a lasting legacy in preserving the original home of British motorsport and aviation, and help us to continue inspiring future generations through Brooklands’ story of innovation and endeavour.
