Listening Books is a UK charity providing over 9,000 fantastic audiobooks and thousands of newspapers and magazines as downloads and internet streams.
Our service is available to anyone who has a disability or illness which makes it difficult to hold a book, turn its pages, or read in the usual way. We cater for both adults and children. We provide audiobooks for leisure to all age groups as well as supporting the National Curriculum from Key Stage 2 to A-Level. We have over 110,000 members across the UK and all of our titles are either commercially sourced or recorded by our own professional audio engineers.
We provide access to the wonderful world of books for thousands of people in hospices, hospitals, nursing homes and schools as well as in their own homes. We also participate in several schemes to support children in care
