Registered Charity No: 212810 (England & Wales).

The extensive work of YMCA has stretched across every aspect of the community for more than 175 years helping to give vulnerable young people a fair start in life.

Every year YMCAs across England and Wales support more than 375,000 young people. Whether it’s the houses provided for thousands of young people experiencing homelessness, the youth clubs so desperately needed, to the vital mental health and career services, our philosophy of supporting young people holistically, means we provide not only a bed but also help young people gain the training, skills and confidence to go on to lead independent lives.

To continue responding to the modern day needs of young people, we rely heavily on gifts in Wills and we kindly ask you to please consider leaving a legacy to YMCA England & Wales. We understand that loved ones come first, but no matter what gift you leave, big or small, you will be making a great personal difference to vulnerable young people across England and Wales supporting future generations.

We have a proud history of providing support to the community in times of crisis. From our work with frontline troops and their families during the First and Second World Wars, through the COVID crisis and beyond. YMCA has stood shoulder to shoulder with young people, families and the community since 1844 and we fully intend to be here for another 175 years.
